What to try
- Replace the ink tank with a new one and close the scanning unit / cover.
- If you choose to keep printing, Canon says you must disable remaining ink level detection by holding the Stop button for at least 5 seconds.
- Note that Canon warns printing in the ink out condition may damage the printer and is not covered.
