HelpByExperts is an online consultation platform that connects users with AI-powered expert guidance in categories including plumbing, electrical, tech support, career help, home improvement, tutoring, travel planning, pet care, cooking, and gardening. The Service uses artificial intelligence to simulate expert consultations and provide helpful advice.
3. Important Disclaimers About Expert Advice
The advice provided through HelpByExperts is generated using artificial intelligence and is intended for informational and educational purposes only. Our "experts" are AI personas, not licensed professionals. The advice should not be considered a substitute for professional consultation with a licensed plumber, electrician, doctor, lawyer, financial advisor, or other certified professional. You acknowledge and agree that: • Advice is AI-generated and may not account for all variables of your specific situation. • For electrical work, plumbing repairs, and other potentially dangerous tasks, you should always prioritize safety and consult a licensed professional when in doubt. • Career advice, financial guidance, and other recommendations are general in nature and should be verified with qualified professionals. • You assume all risk associated with acting on advice received through the Service.
4. User Accounts
To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to: • Provide accurate and complete information during registration. • Keep your account credentials secure. • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account. • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.
5. Payments and Refunds
HelpByExperts offers two payment options: • One-time consultation: $3 per session. • Monthly subscription: $15/month for unlimited consultations. • Business Plan Package: $15 one-time payment. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are in US dollars. Refund Policy: We offer a 100% money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the advice received, contact us within 7 days of your purchase for a full refund. Subscription refunds are prorated based on usage. Subscription Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access until the period ends.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users’ accounts. • Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content. • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or our support team. • Use the Service to generate content that is harmful, defamatory, or violates any law. • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without written permission. • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service. We reserve the right to terminate access for users who violate these terms.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on HelpByExperts — including but not limited to the website design, logos, text, graphics, software, and AI-generated advice — is the property of HelpByExperts or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Content generated during your consultations (such as business plans, resumes, or advice) is yours to use for personal and business purposes. However, you may not resell AI-generated content as a standalone product.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HelpByExperts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: • Property damage resulting from acting on advice received through the Service. • Financial losses resulting from career or business advice. • Personal injury resulting from DIY repair guidance. • Data loss or security breaches beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HelpByExperts, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
