My iPhone is stuck on the Apple logo loading screen for over 30 minutes. Holding the power button does nothing. Is my phone bricked?
A phone stuck on the boot logo is almost never permanently bricked. For iPhone 8 and later: force restart by quickly pressing Volume Up, then Volume Down, then pressing and holding the Side button until the Apple logo disappears and reappears (about 10-15 seconds). This is different from a normal restart. If that fails, try Recovery Mode: connect to a computer with iTunes or Finder. Perform the same button sequence but keep holding until you see the recovery mode screen. iTunes/Finder will offer Update or Restore. Try Update first because it reinstalls iOS without erasing data. If Update fails, Restore erases everything and installs fresh iOS. You can restore from iCloud backup afterward. If nothing works, the issue may be hardware (failing storage chip).
