I applied for a job 6 months ago and got rejected. The same position is posted again. Is it okay to apply again?

Absolutely reapply. Companies repost for many reasons: the first hire did not work out, the role was on hold, or they are expanding. A repost 6 months later is essentially a new search. However, do not submit the exact same application. 1) Update your resume with new skills or accomplishments from the last 6 months. 2) Tailor to the current posting which may have changed requirements. 3) Address the reapplication in your cover letter: I applied previously and have continued developing my skills since then. I am excited to reapply with updated experience. 4) If you know why you were rejected, make sure the new application addresses that gap. 5) If you have contacts at the company, mention your renewed interest for an internal referral.
