Brother Jam Inside: Paper jammed inside the machine

Brother says "Jam Inside" means paper is jammed inside the machine.

What to try

  1. Leave the machine on for 10 minutes so the fan can cool the hot internal parts.
  2. Open the front cover and remove the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly.
  3. Slowly pull out the jammed paper.
  4. Reinstall the toner and drum assembly and close the front cover.
