My AirPods will not connect to my iPhone anymore. They show up in Bluetooth settings but won't pair or keep disconnecting.
Start by resetting your AirPods which fixes most connection issues. Put both AirPods in the case, close the lid, and wait 30 seconds. Open the lid, then press and hold the setup button on the back of the case for about 15 seconds until the status light flashes amber then white. Now on your iPhone, go to Settings, Bluetooth, and if your AirPods are listed, tap the info icon next to them and select Forget This Device. Then bring the open AirPods case near your iPhone and follow the pairing prompt that appears. If no prompt appears, go to Settings, Bluetooth, and look for your AirPods under Other Devices. Also make sure both AirPods are charged — put them in the case for at least 15 minutes before trying. If one AirPod connects but not the other, the non-connecting one may have a dead battery or dirty contacts. Clean the charging contacts on both the AirPods and inside the case with a dry cotton swab. Check that your iPhone is running the latest iOS version as AirPods firmware updates are delivered through the iPhone.
